It's round 2 for me on ViSalus shakes. They're not letting me down and I have learned a few tricks that have helped me, and will help you, stay motivated and end up with the results you're hoping for.

#7: They Are What You Make Them
As goes with anything, remember that your results will depend on your commitment to this lifestyle change.
#6: Chew gum
If you are having a hard time not "chewing" every one of your meals, pop some gum into your mouth and chew your heart out! I think I have 10 varieties of gum in my purse right now, one of those being root beer float :)
#5: Switch It Up
Drinking shakes can get a little old some days so it is important, and helpful, to switch up the flavors!
#4: Water Is Your Friend
Drinking a lot of water every day is important no matter what you're doing, but it is extra important while drinking your shakes. You are getting so many nutrients from these shakes, that you need to help flush them through your system. Some complain about constipation while on the shakes, well people, it's because you're not staying hydrated! DRINK WATER.
#3: Eat Snacks
You are supposed to eat healthy snacks between each meal and it is so important that you do! First, because we don't want you to starve! And secondly, you need to keep your metabolism awake and working!
#2: Sticking To A Schedule Is Key
"Do you feel hungry when drinking the shakes?" Answer: Not when I stay on schedule, drink my breakfast shake at BREAKFAST and then make sure to have my snacks. I get so busy feeding and helping everyone else that sometimes it's almost noon when I go to drink my first shake of the day. . . not good people! These shakes are designed to wake your body up and start working properly. They are packed with all of the nutrients you should be taking in every day, and by doing that, your metabolism start working and helping you lose weight. So you need to make sure to give your body the fuel it needs to work for your benefit. And if you confuse it by skipping meals and letting yourself get hungry in between meals, because you're not eating snacks, you won't see the results you could be seeing otherwise.
#1: Take Before Pictures, Measurements, and Weigh In!
I cannot stress how important this is!!! You HAVE to take before pics and take your body measurements. You will be shocked with the progress you have when you do this. It is also so motivational when you see your progress in those different ways. Last time I took the visalus challenge, I stopped losing weight but continued losing inches. If i wouldn't have been keeping track of my inches lost each week, I would have gotten depressed that "the shakes weren't working anymore." So even if the pictures are only for your eyes, take them.
Now, I must really love you guys, because I am going to share my before pictures with you just so you can get an idea of what i'm talking about. And once again, if I talk the talk, i'm willing to walk the walk. . . only because I hope it will motivate and help you guys.
